Everyone wants to hold the baby.
I’m here to hold the mom.
What is a postpartum doula?
Offering support and a soft place to land in one of the very most crucial transitions of life, a postpartum doula can help in many ways. Some of these may include:
- emotional support
- breastfeeding support
- birth processing
- light housecleaning
- postpartum education
- resource connection
- errands
- schedule organization
- meals and snacks
- baby care
A postpartum doula is not a nurse, midwife, therapist, or lactation consultant. But they can connect you with those types of professionals if the need arises, and be a very valuable resource to you.
How much does a postpartum doula cost?
Â
There is a range, but as a certified postpartum doula (through Birth Bootcamp), I charge $30/hour. I serve clients in Utah County.
What sets you apart from other postpartum doulas?
For one thing, I bring warm, homemade bread. So there’s that. :)
I’ve been through postpartum depression myself, so I get it- I know how important this work is.
I have been described as warm, grateful, present, attentive, intentional, generous, and engaging.
I have seen a lot in my ten years as a mother of big-spirited children, and my time as a postpartum doula. I will not judge you. I love you already.
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Contact me and I will set up a free in-person or video call meeting. We can discuss what you’re looking for, some of my philosophies, and scheduling.
"Diane was just what I needed postpartum. She was amazing to talk to and made me feel heard and validated. I didn't struggle mentally this time around like I did with my first, and I know a large part of that is due to talking to Diane and having her visit me! I'm so grateful for her. She offered the best massage, did my dishes, made the yummiest bread, and talked to me about how breastfeeding was going along with anything else I might be struggling with. I cannot speak highly enough of her and would recommend her to anyone I know having a baby!"
- Amber, second-time mom
Is it worth it?
If your only job after you go through the hard work of growing and birthing a baby is healing and bonding, which I would argue it should be, then you’ll need to delegate a lot. Give yourself the gift of rejuvenation and peace of mind by allowing me to support you on your postpartum journey.Â
I have never met a mom who regretted hiring a doula. I have only met moms who wished they had invested in themselves and hired one.

So what are you waiting for?
I don’t live in Utah Valley. Can I still work with you?
This, my friend, is why I created my online coaching program. I can’t wait to meet you there soon!
